Similar design to the one illustrated in the University of Cambridge Museum of Ethnology catalogue of exhibits in the Australian Ethnological section, complied by Colonel F J Hayter, Cambridge 1930. The script for the item reads (page 51, serial 1): 1915-20 Incised design, Western Australia , Kimberley District, Fortescue River.
